After listening to community feedback, the city has been setting up a new portal for residents to view, pay and manage their utility bills.
The new portal, powered by InvoiceCloud, will be up and running Monday, Dec. 18, around mid-morning. Customers will be able to register new accounts, make payments and set up auto pay, as well as view current and previous bills.
Automatic Payments set up in the former portal will not be processed after Dec. 15, and the former portal will be taken offline. Late fees are not being applied for 90 days after launch, to help ease the transition.
The City of Mountlake Terrace provides water, sewer and stormwater utilities within the city limits, and bills every other month for these services. The city supplies nearly 2 million gallons per day of high-quality drinking water to more than 6,000 homes and businesses.
The city is committed to providing timely and accurate billings, collecting payments fairly and equitably, and meeting customer needs.
A discount program is offered to those who fall under the county income limit. The application is available in the 'Helpful Forms & Information' page linked above. Payment plans and arrangements can be requested through utility billing. Contact us via email or by calling in to find a solution that will work best for you.
