Jack Long Park

  1. Climbing Rock
  2. Horseshoe Pits
  3. Picnic Tables
This quiet 3-acre park is situated in the shadows of the city's water towers near the corner of 220th Street SW and 58th Avenue W, where a hard-surface walking path meanders through tall trees. The park is named after Jack Long, a local citizen and one of the original leaders for park development in Mountlake Terrace. He lived in a house near the present site of St. Pius X Church. In 1967, the park was dedicated in his memory.
